Boyle County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It was formed in 1842. As of 2000, the population was 27,697. Its estimated population as of 2007 was 28,664. Its county seat is Danville. The county is named for John Boyle (1774-1835), Congressman, Chief Justice of the Kentucky Court of Appeals, U.S. District Judge.
